Capture on the phone, work at the counter

The Android companion reads a barcode with the phone camera and sends the scan to the Windows POS. The desktop remains the business workspace; the phone supplies the barcode input.

This gives a team a practical way to use an Android device alongside the counter. Try your own labels, lighting and scanning distance to choose a comfortable daily setup.

Connect the phone to the local POS

The scanner discovers the desktop server on the local network and streams scans to it. Keep the phone and Windows host on a network that lets them communicate.

1. Start the Kassivo POS host on your Windows PC.
2. Connect the compatible Android phone to the shop network.
3. Open Kassivo Scanner, allow camera access and connect to the intended host.
4. Open the receiving workflow in the Windows POS, scan a sample barcode and verify the result.

Test the labels your team actually handles

Scan a familiar product and check that the expected item reaches the counter. Then test several labels from your normal work, including any smaller or worn labels.

The receiving Windows screen determines what happens to a scan. Use the trial to verify the product lookup or barcode-input workflow you need, and check reconnecting after the phone moves out of Wi-Fi range.
